1.  Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your session and take time to settle in. This allows us to begin on time and ensures you receive the full benefit of your session. If you are a new client, arriving 15 minutes early gives you extra time.

2.  Late arrivals more than 10 minutes may result in you not receiving your full session time while still being required to pay the full amount.

3.   Rest comfortably in the shared waiting area until I invite you back for your session.

4.  Minors must be always accompanied by an adult. This includes during the session.

5.  Zero Tolerance for Sexual Misconduct: Inappropriate, suggestive and sexual behavior will result in you being permanently banned from Metacine Wellness and reported to the Ann Arbor Police Department. This includes possible legal action. I reserve the right to end session immediately based on any verbal or nonverbal warning of sexual misconduct.

6.  I reserve the right to deny service if a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

7.   I reserve the right to deny service if a client does not disclose full medical history or previous/current injury.

8. Please ask if you prefer that I wear a mask in session - I am happy to do so.

Cancellation Policy

To honor both your time and mine, I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellation policies are strictly enforced.

·       75% of the session fee for cancellations less than 24 hours before your start time.

·       75% of the session fee for cancellations due to illness less than 2 hours before start time.

·       100% of the session fee for cancellations less than 2 hours before start time or for not showing at all.

  • While Massage Therapy has traditionally been viewed as part of the service industry, as a culture we are expanding our understanding to acknowledge and respect it for the technical craft and art that it is. In the state of Michigan, we are required to obtain a professional Health-care license. As part of a greater health-care team, I choose to set a flat-rate which reflects the value of each customized treatment.

  • Rates are finalized. Sliding scale is not guaranteed and may be offered on a case-by-case basis. If finances are a roadblock to care, please respectfully send me an email to inform me of your situation. We can do our best to create an agreement that will mutually benefit and respect both of us. Please refer to contact page for inquiry.

  • Upon scheduling, you will be prompted to add a card on file in order to reserve your appointment. Payments are to be completed prior to treatment being offered - at the beginning of each session - by Zelle, card using Square, or cash/check. This allows you to integrate and leave session at your leisure without the need to manage with logistics while in the parasympathetic healing state. If you would like other accommodations - such as paying after the session - this is to be discussed prior to treatment. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Metacine Wellness, LLC operates as a stand-alone private practice and does not work with insurance companies or HSA directly. Clients are responsible to submit session receipts to their insurance companies for reimbursement based on their own coverage.
