Prenatal Massage

For expectant mothers, consistent massage therapy can provide relief to neck, low back and hip pain, as well as decreased swelling in the limbs and overall emotional well-being through the pregnancy. Because these massages provide nervous system support to the mother, this additionally can have a positive impact on the baby.

Prenatal massage is specifically customized to the needs of the mother to ensure safety, comfort, tension relief and overall nervous system relaxation.

Contraindications: Please consult with your healthcare provider before receiving prenatal massage, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.

A Special Note from Jacqueline: I have had the absolute joy and pleasure to work with expectant mothers and to see the effect that bodywork has on them through their pregnancy. New mothers have expressed to me that it provided additional resourcing for them for the birth experience itself due to the hours spent on the table focusing on their breathing, simply relaxing and reducing feelings of anxiety. I’ve also witnessed many of these same new mothers through early motherhood as they return to support their bodies in the transition post-birth.

Yes, I want to see your baby photos and yes, I want to celebrate you in this beautiful rite of passage!
