Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage

Therapeutic Deep Tissue is approached with moderate to deep pressure intended to soften and loosen the soft tissue and fascial adhesions. Sessions can include sports massage techniques to improve joint range of motion plus assisted stretching. Whether an individual is highly active or not, day-to-day experiences, physical activity and sleeping patterns can result in muscle aches and pains. This massage is truly a therapeutic experience in that it is common after receiving to feel an increased range of motion in joints and a decrease in overall pain.

“I’ve been a client of Jacqueline’s for about 6 months and my experience has far exceeded my expectations! I was very nervous before my first appointment, but from the beginning she provided a welcoming, safe environment. Her kindness and intuitive vibe helped me relax and trust that it would be a good experience.

I’ve had deep tissue massage and manual lymphatic drainage with Jacqueline and both are wonderful. Before each deep tissue session she takes a moment to check in, see where I’m at and what I’d like her to focus on in that session. When I started seeing Jacqueline I was struggling with pain and stiffness going up and down stairs. She helped me understand that the culprit was tightness in my hips. She found the source, worked through it over time, and I can now do stairs so much more easily. Just recently, I found that I could do a deep squat again for the first time in about 10 years.

The manual lymphatic drainage was a new experience for me and I immediately loved it. She took time beforehand to tell me a little about the technique and what I could expect. It’s gentle, but effective. Afterwards, I always notice less inflammation throughout my body and even the circles under my eyes are lighter!

I feel that Jacqueline approached my situation with compassion and over time has helped me to feel more empowered and to have a deeper connection to my own body. I can genuinely say that working with Jacqueline has improved my quality of life. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, whether on a healing journey like me or just looking to add a little relaxation to life.”
